Ballysaggart Grizzly

Ballysaggart Grizzly was imported from Ireland, by Riding Farm, in September 2022 and is offered for sale to the open market.

Since the spring of 2023 Grizzly has been registered as a Riding School horse and has been catering for beginner and novice clients in group, lead rein and lunge lessons on a regular basis.

This stunning dapple grey gelding has a superb temperament and is lovely and easy to handle. He is good to catch, shoe and load onto a lorry. Currently he is turned out with both mares and geldings in a herd and (touch wood!) keeps himself out of mischief.

Grizzly is a very safe steady ride and not at all spooky. He is more of a kick to go horse and would adapt well to RDA work as he is very patient and placid.

He would do well in the show ring, with his dapple grey colouring and good confirmation he would be bound to catch the judges eye!

Grizzly is also a popular choice for hacking out and accommodates novice clients for both private hacks as well as in group sessions.

He has served us well on our Riding School for the past year and would now benefit from having a one-to-one owner. Our aim is to find him a new home with a competent rider who could further his education and offer him his best life.
