Tim

Just a quick catch up about how Tim is getting along at his new home. Tim as been at Hadlow College for two months and he has slowly growing in confidence. On the 18th November 2018 Tim and I did our first ever Dressage test and got a score of 64.04% and that was in the top ten! He has been a super star and he has made a lot of new horse friends.

Trojan

I purchased Trojan from Sally in April 2018 and am delighted with him. He is the horse of a lifetime, a joy to own and ride.
I cannot recommend Sally highly enough. She is totally professional and straight forward and gave me ample opportunity to trial Trojan to make sure he was suitable for me, during which time I was well supported by Sally and her team.
I am very excited about the future with this wonderful horse and cannot thank Sally enough.

Dolly

We bought Dolly from Sally at Riding Farm this summer for my 13 year-old-daughter.
Sally was very straight-forward and honest to deal with, taking the time to ensure that my daughter was matched with a horse that suited her ability.
Dolly has been exactly as described and has not put a hoof wrong since we bought her – she has been an absolute delight.

King

Dear Sally,
I thought you would like to know how “King” is coming along – and I am pleased to report, very well indeed!
He has settled into his new home very happily (having been a little shy at first) and has made some good chums out in the field. Handlers at the livery yard find him relaxed and easy to handle.
He is an absolute delight to ride and is being thoroughly pampered but not spoilt and I am enjoying every minute of him.
There have been no surprises in the seven weeks that I have owned him and he is actually as Sally led me to believe of him. I have passed on my views and made several recommendations for buying from Riding Farm.

Gwydion

I cannot recommend Sally Gosling more highly. She was extremely honest and trustworthy in providing us with a wonderful pony for our novice children.
It was a daunting experience to look for a pony for our children, there was so much to be concerned by and I could not risk buying an unsuitable pony.
I knew as soon as I spoke to Sally, we could trust her. I was able to tell her what we were looking for, and leave it to her to chose the right one for us from her quality selection of ponies.
Gwydion is a lovely genuine pony who has exceeded all our expectations. He is adored by our children and is a much loved addition to the family.
I would not hesitate to recommend Sally to anyone looking to buy a horse or pony.

Frisco

Hi Sally,

Lizzie

My friend bought Lizzie home on Tuesday – what a super little pony she is!
She was a surprise for an 11 year old girl and we have one very happy young lady now!
We dressed Lizzie up in pony chalk and bows and this pony didn’t care, just let us do what we wanted and didn’t bat an eyelid.
Her new little human Lily got on board yesterday and Lily took her off up the field for a plod and she was good as gold. What a super little mare!
I cannot thank sally enough – I think we got a bargain!
I know where I’d go if I were in the market for a super little pony again.
Thankyou Sally and the team for our new addition. I think Lizzie and Lily will be very happy together.

Mary Rose
Dear Sally,
Just writing a brief line to let you know how Mary Rose is getting on.
She is a delight and we all adore her!
She has been with us about six weeks now and the girls feel she has been here forever.
She settled very well and gets on beautifully with her stable companion Amelia (my 17hh thoroughbred). She is such a kind, generous and relaxed horse.
As you can imagine, she was initially a little apprehensive about every new experience but so willing to take everything on board.
She is working well in the school, both ridden and lungeing and is a lovely hack. She is quick to learn and tries extremely hard.
Our 13 year old daughter has a lesson on her every week and they are moving forwards together very well.
She is exactly what you said she would be and we appreciate your shrewd assessment of our needs.

Billy
Just wanted to drop you an email to let you know how Billy is getting on.
Billy has settled in so well and is adored by the entire yard. My little girl has truly got the perfect pony in Billy.
They are having lessons once a week and are just starting to think about a bit of jumping – he has given Eleana so much confidence!
He has done everything asked of him and hasn’t put a foot wrong – our yard owner thinks he should become the yard mascot when she goes eventing!
We can’t thank you enough for selling us Billy he is a huge part of our family and we all love him to bits.

Rose Blaze

Hi Sally,
I wanted to send you a little message to let you know how Rosie is getting on. She is a real star, has settled so well and is making me proud every day.
After the loss of tin tin I didn’t think I would ever adore a horse as much again but Rosie has proved me completely wrong. She is such a character, and runs across the field to see me but stands for hours to be plaited and groomed!
She’s been out in the lorry to boomerang xc, rose hill xc and went to her first showing class on Monday coming away with 2 5th places. She is flourishing!
So thank you again for another incredible horse, I could not be happier.

Newbury

When we purchased Newbury, a black Shire cross as a 4 year old from Sally 15 years ago everyone told us how much he would be missed and that he was one horse not to be forgotten!
He is now 19 yrs old and absolutely adored by us and everyone who meets him.

Ginger
I brought Ginger about 4 weeks ago, although I haven’t been able to ride because of health issues. I have simply enjoyed bonding with him!
We go for walks with me in the wheelchair, no funny business, he just walks alongside! Even my mum, a non-horsey person, has said she’d ride him!
He loves his carrots and any other food he can munch!
Everyone at the yard loves him and can’t believe he’s so good being six! Ginger was definitely worth waiting 25 years for, he puts a smile on my face and he’s helping me get better!

Tuppy
I bought Tuppy around 6 weeks ago and what a busy few weeks it’s been. Tuppy has settled in well and so far has been wonderful.
I bought Tuppy for my 5 year old daughter as her first pony coming off lead rein. Tuppy has been everything Sally assured me he would be and we have had a fun filled few weeks.
Allegra has joined our local pony club and we have been out competing as much as we can, doing a pony development fun day and lots of shows. Tuppy has always behaved impeccably never putting a foot wrong and coming home with plenty of rosettes.
Tuppy has taught my daughter so much in such a short space of time from just coming off lead rein to going out to complete her first mini crispan cup and Danny challenge for her local pony club completing a xc and sj course but more importantly her confidence has grown enormously and I’m sure there bond will continue to grow.
Tuppy is a great first pony standing for hours to be groomed, plaited, cuddled and covered in glitter with unending patience and tolerance, and has proved to be the best friend that every small pony-mad girl wishes for.
Tuppy will happily go out on a hack on his own or with others and nothing seems to phase him.
He is proving to be a very sweet, honest genuine pony with a lovely laid back temperament. I couldn’t ask for a better first pony he is perfect.

Boolagh Little Butterfly
Hi Sally,
Well what can I say about this super pony? You have made one little girl very happy.
We got Boo a month ago and she has taken my little girl from a complete novice and scared, to now rising trot properly on her own around the ménage.
Ivy is doing her first show on bank holiday Monday and cannot wait.
Boo is one of the kindest ponies I’ve had and really looks after her little jockey, everybody loves her.
The service and customer care we received from Sally and her staff at riding farm was amazing.
I would recommend anyone buying a first/second pony to contact sally.

Lad & Comet
Pauline and I just wanted to put down in words how grateful we are for your help in finding the ideal ponies for Zara and Lauren.
The professional and no nonsense approach you used to assess the girls abilities so we only tried the most suitable ponies was refreshing and instilled me with the confidence that I had come to the right place to buy a pony.
I had only intended to buy one pony for the girls to share. However, the sheer quality of the ponies was such that I couldn’t leave with just one, had I more money I would have gladly bought three or four.
The quality of your ponies really is a credit to you and your staff and the level of service you gave us was exceptional. We will certainly be back for next ponies when the girls grow out of these two.
Lad and Comet have settled in really well, the Girls love them and have formed fantastic bonds already. As you can see from the photo they have been out jumping and collected a couple of clear round rosettes, we are looking forward to this seasons shows.
