About Caroline Baker

“As a child I was a keen member of the West Kent Meopham Pony Club. I then moved to Qatar at the age of 12. 
When living in Qatar, Middle East I showed Arabian Stallions for the Emir and represented Great Britain at Endurance Riding, becoming the first Britain, let alone woman to win the Leading Rider of the Endurance Season in 2002/3. 
This early experience gave me the drive to motivate others within the Equine Industry to achieve their goals. Having moved back to the UK in 2003, I completed one of my goals and achieved the BHS AI. 
In 2015 I completed BHS Intermediate Instructor qualification including all relevant elements at level 4 and 5 which is now Senior Coach. 
Currently I am a freelance Coach, Pony Club Instructor, BS level 1 course builder and mechanical horse riding coach in a disabled school. 
Along with my teaching and my endurance riding I have evented to 1* level (now 2*) coming 9th at Gatcombe.
I a current BS member and have competed from BN, age classes to 1.30 and FEI 1* level.”
